 Today, we once again started with a market review. The results were neither particularly good nor particularly bad — giving students another real taste of the ups and downs of the market. After that, we reviewed what we learned yesterday and focused on a new investing skill: how to sell stocks in a systematic and logical way.  The students practiced the concept of “trimming” — gradually reducing their position in a stock when it becomes too large a percentage of their portfolio. This technique helps lower risk and avoid potential major losses.  In the second half of the session, the students applied and reinforced all the key concepts they’ve learned throughout the week through comprehensive practice exercises, and they also started preparing for tomorrow’s parent presentation.  📢 Parent Reminder: Tomorrow at 3:30 PM (PT), the students will deliver their final presentations, sharing what they’ve learned over the week and reflecting on their first trading experience.  Last Sunday evening, the very first training session of the Bright Reporter team was lively, creative, and full of surprises!  Teacher Dandan personally led the class with humor, warmth, and professionalism. She not only explained the fundamentals of news interviewing and writing techniques but also guided the kids through hands-on practice — group interviews, spontaneous Q&A exercises, and on-stage reporter-style presentations.  The children went from being shy and unfamiliar at the start to bravely asking questions and speaking confidently. Parents actively joined in the activities too, filling the room with laughter and an energetic atmosphere. In this lighthearted and engaging setting, the kids learned how to speak up, how to ask meaningful questions, and how to write a real interview report.  The most exciting part is coming next Saturday — the young reporters will transform into real journalists at the Martial Arts Festival! They’ll interview coaches, performers, sponsors, and audience members on-site, capturing stories and spreading them through their own unique perspectives. We can’t wait to read the one-of-a-kind reports they’ll create!  For parents whose children missed this session — it was truly a “million-dollar opportunity” you missed!
