The Future City Program is a structured STEM journey for students in Grades 5–8,
designed to transform curiosity into real-world engineering skills.
Students don’t just “join a competition”—
they learn how to think, design, build, and present like real engineers and urban innovators.
Each year, students tackle a global sustainability challenge—
such as energy, transportation, or food systems—and design a city of the future with real solutions.
We guide students through three carefully designed stages,
ensuring they are fully prepared—not overwhelmed.

“Do I love engineering?”
What Students Do:
What They Learn:
Key Outcome:

“Learn to think like an engineer.”

Duration: 4–5 Months (Sep–Jan)
Format: Official Competition Season
This is the real-world execution stage, where students take full ownership.
Build a professional-scale city model
Write a 1,500-word research essay
Design a complete project plan
Deliver a 7-minute technical presentation
City Model (built with real constraints)
Research Essay
Project Plan
Team Presentation + Q&A
Compete at Regional Competition
Potential to advance to National Finals in Washington, D.C.
Scholarships, recognition, and real-world experience

Camp → Builds interest
Course → Builds skills
Team → Builds results

This program is not just about one competition—it builds a long-term advantage.

Unlike traditional programs, we don’t throw students into competition unprepared.
Our Advantage:
Students train BEFORE competing
They enter the season with:
Research already done
Skills already learned
Clear design direction
This is why our students don’t just participate—they lead and win.

This program is perfect for students who:
Are curious about how things work
Enjoy building, designing, or creating
Like teamwork and solving real problems
Want to go beyond classroom learning
No need to be a “top math student” — we need:
Designers, Writers, Builders, Thinkers, Speakers

It’s a transformation:
From “I wonder…”
To “I can build this.”
To “I can lead this.”
